A small workshop with an unreasonable eye for detail.

Royal Detailing is six people, four bays and a lot of very bright lights. We correct paint, coat it, and hand it back better than it left the factory, one car at a time.

“We’d rather spend another hour on a car than hand it back with a single swirl.”

Started with one black car.

Daniel started detailing on weekends after a dealership “valet” left his own black saloon covered in holograms. He bought a polisher, a stack of pads and a paint-depth gauge, and spent a winter learning to undo the damage properly.

Word got round. Friends brought their cars, then their friends did, then a Mayfair garage started sending over cars for show prep. By 2017 the lock-up had a waiting list and two more pairs of hands.

Today we work from a purpose-built, temperature-controlled workshop with four bays, daylight- balanced lighting on every wall and an air-filtered coating room. The process hasn’t changed: look properly, correct carefully, protect it so it stays that way.

Most of our work comes from people who’ve been to us before. We’d like you to be one of them.

Detailers on the team

Three rules we don’t bend.

  1. Light first.

Every car is inspected under swirl-finder lamps before a pad touches it. If we can’t see the defect, we can’t fix it properly.

  2. No shortcuts.

Two-bucket washes, fresh pads per panel, paint-depth readings before every correction. It takes longer. That’s the point.

  3. Straight answers.

If a scratch is through the clear coat, we’ll tell you rather than polish it thin. You’ll never pay for work we didn’t agree first.
